Tip #1 Safety First -
The driving range is a really fun place, but it’s not a playground. They need to understand the dangers of getting hit with a golf club and must be supervised at all times.
Tip #2 Have Fun -
If they enjoy the experience, they will want to do it again. Let them play, laugh, and learn by making mistakes.
Tip #3 Play -
Don’t grind them on swing technique or constantly tell them what they did wrong. Keep it very simple and give them achievable challenges to conquer. The goal is to have your child become a lifelong golfer, so your family can spend precious time together creating memories.
The one thing that absolutely kills me, is when I see young children, sitting at the range, staring at their devices, plugged in while their parents practice golf.
Follow these tips to not be that parent. Or, put your child into our junior golf academy so you can practice while they play and learn. Win-Win
